Get to know us better with a trial apprenticeship.

At Jorns, apprenticeships are available as plant and equipment engineer (EFZ), polytechnician (EFZ) or production mechanic (EFZ). You can experience life in the workplace for yourself in a three-day trial apprenticeship.

Everyone wants to know what you’re going to do after leaving school. However, this is not a decision to be taken lightly. You have to think carefully about which professions interest you the most and which fields you would feel at home in. Trying out as many different professions as possible is a great idea. Only when you can participate yourself do you find out which aspects you enjoy – and which not so much. Even finding out that a profession is not the right match for your skills or that you had a very different idea of what it involves is also helpful.

At Jorns AG, the trial apprenticeship is your first step towards vocational training. You will discover if the profession is right for you while also becoming familiar with the working environment at our company. This also gives us a chance to get to know you better as your prospective employer. Our trial apprenticeships usually last three days, and you can register by sending an e-mail to n.jorns@jorns.ch. Interested? The most important steps for your trial apprenticeship can be found here.
